EMI
Artist

My name is Emi Wright and I'm a beader.  That is kind of like saying I'm an alcholic.  I love the feel of them, the color play, the combinations, the methods of putting them together in a design, and the fact that they have been around forever.  Peoples from every country around the world have used beads since the time of cavemen.

Arts and crafts have been a part of my life since I was small.  It started out as a make-do and became a labor of love.  I started beading several years ago when I had a handcrafted gift shop and now that is my favorite thing.  I do still enjoy painting and do some, mostly for family.  I have a wonderful, very supportive husband, Bill, and four children, ten grandchildren and seven greatgrands with two more on the way.  We are all a family of do-it-yourselfers, which sometimes causes trouble, but is always interesting.
